If you are CALLING and checking on entertainers for your children, YOU SHOULD ASK THESE QUESTIONS !

1. How many children allowed at the party? Many companies quote a price without asking the number of children and then do not follow thru on the promised activities.
2. A real clown has liability insurance, do they?  (Don’t rely on your Homeowners policy to protect you).
3. Will they provide proof of insurance before the party? Our entertainers will show you the insurance certificate for $3,000,000 coverage when they arrive.
4. Are your children safe with them? (Megan’s Law) Our entertainers are fingerprinted.
5. Do they have a business license? Our entertainers show you their license before the show. You know who they are.
6. Do they wear a costume? (Some do not) All of our entertainer are costumed, they are not the traditional costumes worn by traditional white face clowns. They are a more gentle kind that do not frighten children. Costumes available are listed below.
7. Are the face paints or other products safe for children? Do not let them use products on the faces of your children unless they are made for that purpose. All of the products we use are designed for use on the skin.

                                                                                           MAKE A BEAR INTERACTIVE WORKSHOP 

 An entertainer does the STUFFED BY ME Interactive Workshop. This is an interactive show that’s a fun experience for the whole family. Adults look at stuffed animals as decorations but children look at them as comforting. The children and adults chose from an animal, which has been hollowed out, from those that the entertainer brings and put hearts, flowers, notes, etc. in them. They then fill them with stuffing and the entertainer sews them for the children. The children keep the toys they have made. No clothes for the animals are provided. Our emphasis is not on the clothes but on what it means to the children to be able to pick what comforts them. The high cost of living does not allow many children access to more expensive toys in stores. This show is designed to provide toys to as many children as possible . I  am the only one offering this service where the toys and supplies are provided free. Payment is for the time and labor of the entertainer.  

                                                                                                 FACE PAINTING

      Its hard to believe the something as innocent as face painting, if done wrong, could permanently burn the face of a child. Use of the wrong products, at its worst, could cause chemical leukoderma/permanent pigment loss or respiratory disorders due to an allergic reaction to the paints. There are non-professional people who use acrylic paints, poster paints, or even more toxic paints on the faces of kids. Just because the label reads non toxic does not mean its safe for the skin. These products may contain many toxic chemicals, or even lead, especially if it is imported. Some face paints dry and flake and can get in the eye. Glitter is popular but can cause serious problems if it gets in the eyes from application on the face.  Many colors should not be used around the eye area. Children with high allergies should not be face painted at all. Children under the age of three are at high risk because their skin allergies have not been determined.
